National Training Inspectorate for Professional Dog Users
Based in Welshpool, Powys surrounded by rolling hills. The NTIPDU develop training courses for the canine security industry.
Warm Welcome From Wales
All NTIPDU courses are for dog and handler teams that wish to progress to a higher level in the Security Dog Industry. It is not a requirement to take any courses, they are designed for professional dog handlers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Forestry
There are woods and quarries available for the training of search and tracking dogs.
Livestock
During training the dogs will come into contact with many species including pigs, cows, sheep, rabbits and wild birds.
The centre
The centre has access to various training environments including farm buildings and residential venues.
The NTIPDU was formed to Promote Professionalism, set and maintain Standards and to assist all governing bodies within the Security Industry
